Reading DAX markup
DAX belongs to the index group in the scanner and follows its configured feed’s trading calendar. Comparisons with US indices require matching the observation scale and time: the same calendar date does not guarantee the same number of closed bars. A DAX corridor is not transferred from SPX or assigned from the chart of one German stock.
The principal context on this page is the reaction sequence after a session pause. A long opening candle may resemble a breakout, but its subsequent status is determined by closes and the boundaries of the particular corridor. 4H and 1D are available; the absent 1H scale is stated directly. DAX proxy volume is not the sum of every constituent transaction, so effort assessment is not presented as a complete picture of exchange demand. Calendar pauses remain unfilled by fabricated bars. Each history event records its scale, moment and outcome, allowing a return, invalidation and a completion without target to be distinguished. Daily-event statistics may contain far fewer observations than the four-hour sample, and this limitation remains visible. Use a schematic to understand event order, while checking actual numbers and the current phase in the live DAX panel. Combining the explanation with the real timestamp is more informative than comparing two similarly shaped but differently dated charts.
The server view for DAX: 1H — unavailable for this asset class; 4H — no range; 1D — data unavailable. Available instrument history contains 0 rows over 30 days; 10 completions across separate two-year samples. The opening line records the snapshot state rather than a forecast. Compare its time with the latest event time: an old label does not become current merely because no newer event exists. Each DAX 40 scale keeps an independent phase, and no range does not mean distribution. Numbers can change after another close, so retain the observation date when reviewing an example.
The DAX panel reads the same candles as the general scanner. Switching scale does not change the data provider. A candle obtains its final value after it closes; later bars can finish the working area or cancel a dependent label. In the DAX 40 view, compare boundaries with the actual close rather than just a wick. An educational schematic explains phase order, but it does not depict real prices from the selected day.
DAX percentages describe completed events in the available archive. Each row displays its own sample size and three possible final outcomes. A label still awaiting evaluation is not complete, and a cancelled label is counted as neither success nor failure. It remains available in DAX 40 history. Shares appear only when n reaches twenty. This preserves the distinction between an event ending without a result and not having enough observations to assess its outcome frequencies.
DAX 40 volume is a proxy, without confirmation from complete market turnover. A DAX example is best reviewed from a specific event through its subsequent candles. Date, scale and final evaluation make the DAX 40 observation reproducible. The Magnitude link depicts movement in another way, while the online chart supplies price context. Neither replaces scanner structure. Method and atlas links explain phase names; returning to the general table lets you compare instruments without mixing their statistics. The tool links retain the configured symbol rather than guessing a new source.
FAQ
Why does the DAX phase differ between scales?
Each DAX timeframe is marked independently using closed candles. Available scales are 4H, 1D. A missing structure is not copied from another scale.
What does DAX volume mean?
DAX 40 feed volume is a proxy. It does not confirm total worldwide or exchange turnover and is explicitly labelled in the panel.
Why are DAX event percentages missing?
Each event type and timeframe requires at least 20 completed outcomes. Waiting and cancelled observations are excluded from n; a smaller sample is labelled insufficient data.
