Reading BRENT markup
The Brent page uses the public ticker BRENT, mapped to XBRUSD in source configuration. This is an explicit alias for one feed, not permission to combine arbitrary oil series. When comparing an outside chart, confirm the instrument and calendar. The name Brent by itself does not establish that a particular official source has just supplied a new candle.
BRENT markup on this page is available for 4H and 1D. The hourly scale is honestly marked as absent from the current contract. Proxy volume does not replace physical oil turnover; the displayed boundaries come from the configured feed’s price sequence. The practical Brent question is whether price returned into the area after departure or held a new close outside it. A sequence of bars answers this question, not the name of an educational schematic. This page’s history reads the existing scanner snapshot and does not start a separate official Brent download merely because someone views it. If data is delayed, its date remains visible. An old corridor is not declared current just because there are no fresh events. Outcome shares belong to BRENT and the particular timeframe; WTI observations cannot substitute for a small Brent sample. Keeping the public alias, feed symbol and snapshot time together makes the provenance of the displayed structure easier to inspect.
The server view for BRENT: 1H — unavailable for this asset class; 4H — no range; 1D — no range. Available instrument history contains 0 rows over 30 days; 12 completions across separate two-year samples. The opening line records the snapshot state rather than a forecast. Compare its time with the latest event time: an old label does not become current merely because no newer event exists. Each Brent scale keeps an independent phase, and no range does not mean distribution. Numbers can change after another close, so retain the observation date when reviewing an example.
To investigate BRENT, open the desired scale and point at a candle: the panel supplies price, volume and the event label. The Brent drawing comes from the operating scanner’s closed bars. The selector does not create missing quotations or copy a higher phase onto a lower scale. Price returning into the corridor requires subsequent closes to be examined. The schematic atlas explains that sequence while actual boundaries remain in the instrument panel.
The two-year BRENT table groups observations by event type and timeframe. Sample n includes completed outcomes only: target, invalidation and no result. Waiting and cancelled counts are printed separately for inspection. The publication threshold for Brent shares is twenty completions. Until then, a direct insufficient-data label remains. A small example count is not concealed by pooling neighbouring markets or different scales into one overall percentage. Every displayed share retains its own denominator.
Brent volume is a proxy, without confirmation from complete market turnover. When studying BRENT, compare the same code and scale while recording the date and final status. The online chart provides Brent price context; Magnitude helps describe movement size but does not independently confirm a Wyckoff phase. From this page you can return to the general scanner, open the atlas and explore the method. This route connects an explanation with an observation without turning an educational drawing into a signal.
FAQ
Why does the BRENT phase differ between scales?
Each BRENT timeframe is marked independently using closed candles. Available scales are 4H, 1D. A missing structure is not copied from another scale.
What does BRENT volume mean?
Brent feed volume is a proxy. It does not confirm total worldwide or exchange turnover and is explicitly labelled in the panel.
Why are BRENT event percentages missing?
Each event type and timeframe requires at least 20 completed outcomes. Waiting and cancelled observations are excluded from n; a smaller sample is labelled insufficient data.
