Reading WTIUSD markup
WTIUSD represents the WTI oil feed. Its area of balance belongs to this instrument rather than to every oil price quoted in the news. Neighbouring Brent may have a different reaction and candle calendar; sharing the energy category does not combine their events. For an external comparison, establish the contract and quotation source first, then compare the levels themselves.
The scanner uses 4H and 1D for WTI, while the hourly scale is unavailable for this asset class. The choice is visible in the selector rather than hidden behind a copied phase. Oil volume is labelled as a proxy: it is neither all physical deliveries nor proof of the worldwide demand balance. For WTIUSD, distinguish an approach to a boundary, a close beyond it and a return after departure. A change in chart shape alone does not establish the cause of movement or a switch of oil contract. Pauses between traded observations remain unfilled by artificial bars. History lets you check whether a particular breakout ended at the target, was invalidated or produced no result. WTI observations are not pooled with Brent. This separation matters especially when similar daily drawings contain different numbers of completed events. The available four-hour view provides a closer reading of the same configured feed without introducing a different source for missing hourly data.
The live WTIUSD line reports 1H — unavailable for this asset class; 4H — accumulation, phase C; 1D — data unavailable. For this instrument, 1 rows over 30 days; 6 completions across separate two-year samples. Start with the snapshot date and latest label before comparing scales. The WTI description covers existing completed observations rather than a future move. An empty structure is not an opposite phase. Assigning identical phases to every scale to produce an attractive summary would substitute data; the page leaves actual differences visible. This is particularly useful when a short range has already ended.
The WTIUSD chart lets you check the text directly against WTI candles. It uses the scanner’s existing panel rather than a separate SEO model. Buttons change only the observation scale. A long wick and a close outside a boundary describe different price behaviour, while the event code depends on the full sequence. Parent cancellation remains relevant to dependent labels. Schematics explain the notation without inserting their fictional levels into the market chart.
The two-year WTIUSD table groups observations by event type and timeframe. Sample n includes completed outcomes only: target, invalidation and no result. Waiting and cancelled counts are printed separately for inspection. The publication threshold for WTI shares is twenty completions. Until then, a direct insufficient-data label remains. A small example count is not concealed by pooling neighbouring markets or different scales into one overall percentage. Every displayed share retains its own denominator.
WTI volume is a proxy, without confirmation from complete market turnover. Related surfaces for WTIUSD include the full scanner, schematics, method, chart and Magnitude. Each answers a different question. The atlas explains WTI events, the chart exposes prices, and impulse size does not automatically establish accumulation. Retain the time and final outcome of an example so that you can compare the same case later. The sequence of facts matters more than the resemblance of two unrelated chart fragments.
FAQ
Why does the WTIUSD phase differ between scales?
Each WTIUSD timeframe is marked independently using closed candles. Available scales are 4H, 1D. A missing structure is not copied from another scale.
What does WTIUSD volume mean?
WTI feed volume is a proxy. It does not confirm total worldwide or exchange turnover and is explicitly labelled in the panel.
Why are WTIUSD event percentages missing?
Each event type and timeframe requires at least 20 completed outcomes. Waiting and cancelled observations are excluded from n; a smaller sample is labelled insufficient data.
