Edwin Lefevre is best known for his book "Reminiscences of a Stock Operator", describing the career of Jesse Livermore. However, Lefevre also has another, extremely interesting and surprisingly modern book "Wall Street Stories". In it you will find 8 fascinating stories describing the psychology of investors, the machinations of big players (today they are all the same), and the ignorance of profit-hungry traders. For our readers, we have prepared an audio version of this wonderful book together with Roman Volkov.

This is Lefevre's first book, when he was still a very young (not yet 30) trader and journalist. It is based on real events, since Lefevre, successfully combining the career of a journalist and a trader, constantly moved in New York financial circles.

I really love old books about trading. There is some kind of warmth, soulfulness, charm of the past in them. But what especially hooked me in the "Stories" were the market manipulations, namely how similar they are to modern schemes like "Pump and dump", which are actively used in the crypto market. Which once again proves to us that the psychology of the crowd and traders has not changed even over 120 years ("Wall Street Stories" was first published in 1901).
