That is, if the Expert Advisor starts trading at a loss, we need to wait for profitable trades, cover the series of losses, and continue trading further at the same pace.

However, many traders absolutely do not understand the meaning of a trading lot, how to set it correctly, and why you cannot risk the entire deposit in one trade. So, if you are going to play all-in, that is, when one trade can either increase your deposit or completely destroy it, then you should at least realize that in this case you can lose everything. Nevertheless, many people do not understand this, do not want to understand it, or subconsciously perceive trading as gambling.

For an automatic lot, a risk of 1% to 5% per trade is recommended. Under no circumstances should you set 30% per trade or, even more so, more than that. If you agree to such a risk, then you must understand that 3 unsuccessful trades will practically destroy your deposit completely. In fact, even 5% is already a big risk, and it is better to stick to values of 2-3%.

You should also avoid ruble accounts. The thing is that many Expert Advisors do not know what rubles are and will assume that you have an account in dollars. Accordingly, huge trades will be opened for you that do not correspond to the real size of your deposit. For example, you will set a risk of 3% per trade, but in the end you will lose half of the deposit. In general, there is almost no point in using ruble accounts. Therefore, use dollar accounts, and then all Expert Advisors, indicators, and scripts will work most adequately.

All Expert Advisors of this kind trade differently: somewhere the lot is increased, somewhere it is simply duplicated. Therefore, always follow the recommendations.
