Lucky Grid Expert Advisor - Grid for AUDUSD

Today we will talk about the expert advisor Lucky Grid. This robot is notable because it is designed to trade only one currency pair, the "Aussie" AUDUSD. Lucky Grid shows good performance over a long period both in the tester and on live monitoring without changing the settings, and it is not some extremely complex system, but simply a successful combination of indicators and an order grid. The Lucky Grid expert advisor uses a position averaging strategy. With the help of a combination of standard indicators (standard indicators are those built into the Metatrader 4 platform; in this robot these are MACD, RSI and the Moving Average), a suitable entry point is chosen (in the expert advisor's "opinion"), and the first order is opened.

Then, if quotes do not move toward the take-profit, an order grid is built with the same lot size and a step of 200 five-digit points.

For each order in the grid, its own personal take-profit and stop-loss values are set. However, the order grid "collapses" when quotes pull back toward profit, with the whole group of one-directional orders closing at one point, while the expert advisor locks in profit.

The expert advisor has settings for money management, stops, grid-order profits, and other input values.

The tests were done using the Tick Data Suite program on quotes from Dukascopy, with a real variable spread.

The results of monthly tests confirm the reliability and profitability of the expert advisor.

The monitoring trades the AUDUSD pair; earlier there was also trading on EURCHF

MoneyM - sets the lot for trading as a percentage of the deposit;
Manual_Lot - sets a fixed lot for trading;
TakeProfit - take-profit size in 5-digit pips;
StopLoss - stop-loss size in 5-digit pips;
Broker_GMT - the broker's time offset relative to GMT;
MagicNumber - order magic number;
X4 - an internal robot parameter;
rsi_period - the period of the RSI indicator (see the "Strategy of the Expert Advisor" section).

Based on the test results, a proportional risk of no more than MoneyM=0.02 is recommended for the pair proposed for trading (AUDUSD).

For trading with fixed lots, at least 500 units of currency per 0.01 lot are recommended. For clarity, see the table below.

The Lucky Grid expert advisor is a simple but profitable grid-type robot that has reliable protection against a "blowout" through the mandatory use of stops. The expert advisor performs well in tests and confirms its reliability through operation on traders' real accounts.

For the expert advisor to work correctly, the trading terminal must be switched on from the market opening on Sunday evening until its closing on Friday evening. If you do not have the ability to keep your computer running 24/5, it is recommended to use a VPS server service.
