Genesis Matrix: Not a Holy Grail, But Very Close...
Hello, dear readers of the forex blog tradelikeapro.ru. This time we will get acquainted with one of the best intraday strategies available today, namely the Genesis Matrix trading system. In essence, this is a reworked, improved, and expanded version of the Symphonie Trader System strategy that we discussed earlier. But in Genesis Matrix they got rid of the main drawback of "Symphonie" - indicator repainting, which made trading difficult for less experienced traders.
Characteristics of the Genesis Matrix Strategy
Platform: Metatrader 4
Currency pairs: EURUSD, AUDUSD, EURGBP, EURJPY
Timeframe: M1-M15, recommended – M5 (higher TFs can also be used)
Trading time: London session
Recommended brokers: Alpari, Forex4you
Entry Rules for Genesis Matrix
1) The 4 Genesis indicator squares have turned the same color.
2) The stochastic lines have crossed and are moving out of the 20/80 zone (oversold / overbought).
3) HA has closed above / below EMA5.
4) The MTF M15 stochastic is directed toward the trade
5) An arrow from the Arrow indicator has appeared (optional condition; we enter even if there is no arrow, but if it does not appear within a couple of candles, we consider the possibility of exiting)
Exit Rules
Targets are support / resistance levels, round numbers, and pivots.
We also exit when all four Genesis squares switch to the opposite color.
Stop-Loss
Place the stop-loss slightly below / above the nearest local high / low.
Additional Notes
- If the stop-loss is visually very large, do not enter the position.
- At the end of the European session, it is better to close any remaining positions.
- When 20 points of profit are reached, move the position to breakeven (move the stop-loss to the order's opening price).

Conclusion
The Genesis Matrix strategy is undoubtedly profitable, has been tested by hundreds of traders around the world, and has been brought almost to perfection. So you should not end up thinking that "Pavel is a jerk, the system does not work." But I sincerely advise you not to trade a method, this one or any other, in exactly the form in which you were taught it. Always try to change something, to adjust something for yourself. This is a very, very important point, you cannot even imagine how much so. I talked about this in more detail earlier.
The point is that to succeed in trading you need absolute confidence in the system you use, otherwise after your very first losing trades you will abandon the strategy, deciding that "it does not work." And to gain confidence in a strategy, it is necessary that you fully understand it: what, for what purpose, and why.
