What is the essence of the contest?
The Tlap.io trading portal together with AMarkets is holding the contest "Hunting the Moose 17." The essence of the contest is very simple: you open a demo account, and your task is to lose as much virtual money as possible within two weeks. The luckiest "moose hunters" will receive cash prizes and pleasant gifts.
And what are the prizes?
There will be 20 prize places. The winners will be determined by the site administration and the broker's automated system.
As always in our contests, the prizes are cash. They will be credited to your trading account, and you will be able to withdraw them at any time. No tricky schemes a la "money only for trading, cannot be withdrawn," everything is fair.
- 1st place - 300$

Contest dates
To participate in the contest, you need to register a contest account by January 24 inclusive (see the conditions below). The contest itself will take place from January 22 to February 2, 2024. That is, you will have 2 weeks to trade on the contest account. The contest results will be summed up by February 16 (most likely earlier). The winners will be determined by the site administration together with AMarkets.
Contest rules - read carefully!
To participate in the "Hunting the Moose 17" contest, you need to:
- Register a demo account through the special link if you are not yet an AMarkets client.
- If you are already an AMarkets client, open a MetaTrader 4/5 demo account (either Standard or ECN) with a balance of 5000 USD in your personal cabinet, then enter its number through the special link.
- During the period from January 22 to February 02, make trades on your account while observing the restrictions (see below).
Restrictions:
- Only 1 account per person is accepted in the contest. We will check this rule especially carefully.
- It is forbidden to open positions on the contest account before January 22.
- You may trade only the following pairs: EURUSD, GBPUSD, AUDUSD
- The starting balance of the demo account must be 5000 USD.
- The size of each order is 0.1 lot.
- It is forbidden to keep more than 1 trade on 1 currency pair at the same time (but different pairs are allowed).
- Each trade must be closed with a loss of at least 30 old points. For example, if you bought EURUSD at 1.0950, then you need to close the trade at a loss at 1.0920, or better lower so that slippage and the like do not interfere. I advise setting stops at 35 points or more. The profit (take-profit) may be any.
- By the end of the second trading week (February 2), all trades on the contest account must be closed. Undeleted pending orders are also considered an open position.
- A participant who makes fewer than 10 operations on the account during the contest period or violates any other listed restriction will be disqualified.
- One hour before the market closes on Friday, February 2 (that is, from 23:00 to 00:00 terminal time, the "Market Watch" window), it is allowed to close previously opened trades with a loss of less than 30 old points, but you should not count on this or abuse it. Opening new trades on the last day after 23:00 is forbidden.
- The contest ends on February 3 at 00:00 terminal time.
- Positive and negative swaps are not taken into account in the final result.

- I accidentally opened the wrong lot size/the wrong pair/ahead of time, etc.!!! Am I excluded??? Yes, excluded. Rules are rules. Be more careful.
- What is the account size? 5000 USD.
- And what leverage should I choose?
Any.
- Can I trade on one account from two devices (for example, a PC and a smartphone)?
Yes, you can.
- And how can I find out whether I am participating in the contest?
After the contest starts, the tournament table will be active at the link, where you will be able to find your account and the current results of other participants.
- In the terminal, in the order opening window, the lot is 0.01, what should I do? Manually set the lot to 0.1 using the keyboard.
