Current Trading Ideas for 14.04.2025

Hello. Below are several recommendations for trading on the Forex market for 14.04.2025

EURUSD

The range of the candles is already such that all that remains is to look at weekly charts and higher. On the EURUSD pair, they very actively swept through all the highs of the last couple of years and stopped before the 1.1482 level. I do not want to make a long-term forecast yet, there are no patterns yet. Just a frantic rise on large sales in the trade statistics. I hope we will see a pullback at the beginning of the week to the area of the 1.1200 level or slightly lower; there I will try to look for buys with the expectation of continued growth. Targets for buys are 1.1482.

USDCHF

On the USDCHF pair, they also swept through the lows, forming a new one; below is only the historical 0.7067. We will not look for a trend reversal here either; we will wait for Price Action patterns. Ideally, I would also like to see a pullback somewhere to the area of the 0.8390 level. After that, it will already be possible to look at sells, expecting the downward rally to continue.

AUDUSD

On the AUDUSD pair, just as quickly as it left the sideways range, it returned to it just as quickly, and it has not yet reached the highs of 0.6404. Here you can already look more boldly for intraday buys on pullbacks, expecting that we will go and update the highs. I am watching buys here.

Fundamental Review

Larry Fink, Chairman of BlackRock

The U.S. President failed to secure negotiations, by raising duties, from Canada, the European Union and, most importantly, China. While the EU postponed retaliatory duties for 90 days, China raised them to 125%. In turn, the White House was forced to backtrack, exempting from tariffs smartphones, tablets, computers and chips that Americans receive en masse from China.

Larry Fink, Chairman of BlackRock, believes that the U.S. has already guaranteed itself a recession, despite the cancellation of tariffs, since the 10% rate and 25% levies on steel and cars remain, not to mention the trade war with China. Statistics show that inflation is not accelerating yet, but consumer expectations for it are at a high.

The market reaction at the end of the week was mixed. Asia produced a mixed result, Europe fell, while U.S. stock indices were recovering losses.

  • Nikkei 225 fell by 2.96% (33 585.58), Topix by 2.85% (2 466.91).

  • CSI 300 added 0.41% (3 750.52), Hang Seng 1.13% (20 914.69).

Cryptocurrency News

Bitcoin added almost 10% at the end of the week, but began Monday morning with a significant decline; the cryptocurrency rate is holding at a level above $83K.

The main events of the second working week of the month were Donald Trump's special tariffs for China and the Senate's approval of the new head of the U.S. SEC, Paul Atkins. Earlier, the regulator approved trading in options on spot Ethereum ETF shares.

Rumors have resurfaced about cooperation between the family of the U.S. president and the Binance exchange. The largest crypto company will support the launch of Trump's stablecoin in exchange for preferences in the U.S.
