Current Trading Ideas for 15.08.2025
Hello. Below are several recommendations for trading on the Forex market for 15.08.2025
USDJPY

On the USDJPY pair, we moved for a long time in a fairly narrow sideways range and today collected the lows of the last few days. It is a pity that we did not reach below the 145.75 level, but a decent Pin Bar pattern formed. I think one can consider buys here, with targets just beyond the 151.30 highs. I think the 148.54 level will not provide much resistance.
Fundamental Overview

The decline in unemployment in Australia was reflected only in the S&P/ASX 200 index this Thursday. The other markets closed mixed ahead of the Fed conference in Jackson Hole. Meanwhile, the White House is already selecting a replacement for agency head Jerome Powell. The post may be taken by David Zervos, Chief Market Strategist at Jefferies, who advocates aggressive rate cuts.
European investors bought stocks ahead of talks between the presidents of Russia and the United States in Alaska. This factor helped overcome the negative from a deeper 1.3% decline in industrial production in the EU.
The acceleration of the producer price index above forecasts led in the United States to a reallocation of capital from the tech sector into cyclical assets. The S&P500 set a record for the third day in a row.

Cryptocurrency News
Bitcoin fell to the $118.5K level, losing 4.5%, as did the total capitalization of digital currencies, which decreased to $4 trillion. Some see the cryptocurrency sell-off as a correction after historical highs, while others blame the U.S. producer price index, which clearly signals accelerating inflation.
Among the significant news, the following can be highlighted:
- The U.S. government is studying options for acquiring more bitcoins to expand its reserves.
- U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs ended August 13 with the sixth consecutive trading day of positive inflows
- U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs recorded a seventh day of positive inflows on August 13
- The value of OKX's native token soared by 160% within an hour after the exchange announced the burning of 65.25 million OKB tokens.
