Porting Old Expert Advisors to New MT4 Builds
I welcome you, dear trader gentlemen, as we continue our MQL lessons. Many of you have encountered the fact that when trying to compile an old expert advisor on a new build, errors appeared. This is connected with the fact that newer versions of MetaTrader are more "advanced" and the old mechanisms no longer work. So how do you adapt a Forex expert advisor for the new MT4 builds? In fact, the topic of this lesson will be porting expert advisors from the old build to new versions of Metatrader 4.
